Today, we’ll be diving deep into the amazing duality of LUNA’s Yoon TaeIn (played by U-KISS’ Lee JunYoung) from the drama “Let Me Be Your Knight” in a special K-Pop x K-Drama crossover. Yoon TaeIn is the leader, main vocalist, and producer of LUNA. He is strict to the point of being indifferent at times but he’s also deeply passionate and carries painful wounds from his past. Owing to this internalized trauma, he’s suffering from somnambulism or sleep-walking. He’s artistically gifted and has a great understanding of music, giving precedence to experimental and good music rather than popular music. TaeIn may seem serious and unbothered but he is a sweet little ball of sunshine when no one’s looking. He gets easily flustered and his ears turn red whenever he’s shy. He may come off as indifferent but he cares about his members more than anyone else. On stage, TaeIn has a fire in his eyes that is incomparable. At the same time, when his gaze is soft, it holds the power to melt hearts into puddles.
At the same time, there’s a poignant melancholy in his eyes that often translates into his music. In rare moments, TaeIn can be seen giving in to his “sweet boy” urges, especially when he is around either his fans, “Dr. Kang” (played by Jung InSun), or when he’s making music.
